Earn Above $100k in first year with a What Scratch? franchise

What Scratch? is a mobile automotive paintwork servicing franchise seeking to expand in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

What Scratch? FranchiseAugust has been a big month for What Scratch? franchisees with records tumbling!

  •  Highest amount of total paint repairs achieved as a company in one month
  •  Highest first month in business achieved by a franchisee
  •  Highest amount of total paint repairs achieved by a franchisee in one month
  •  Three WA franchisees achieved their own personal highest month
  •  Three NSW franchisees achieved their own personal highest month
  •  Highest number of dealerships contacting What Scratch? wanting regular paintwork repairs.

As a part of a marketing strategy for 2011 What Scratch? is looking to gain work from private individuals, small businesses and fleet managers. A recent TV segment where a before and after was shown on a black commodore and radio advertising in Sydney have resulted in record numbers of private enquiries and helped franchisees to achieve the outstanding results in August. Having traditionally worked only with automotive dealerships, growing brand awareness in the private sector has been a priority. A private customer database has been developed and is maintained by the What Scratch? Franchisor so that What Scratch? franchisees can build a relationship with their private customers the same as they do with their automotive dealerships.

The number of website visits, calls to the 1300 BUFFED telephone number and email enquiries have skyrocketed in July and August and What Scratch? plan to capitalise on the going demand for their sprayless scratch repair system, specialist dark coloured car system and general minor automotive paint repair services. Especially pleasing has been the growing number of jobs being referred to What Scratch? by word of mouth.

What Scratch? FranchiseOver 14% of work is received from people seeing the stand out signwriting on What Scratch? vans so as the number of vans increases and the number of private jobs completed increases, What Scratch? hopes that the growth in private sector work with grow exponentially. What Scratch? only sold their first franchise in 2009 but now have 9 franchisees that have been working one year. The average earnings for these franchisees in their first year in business is $105031.14 excluding gst. Only one of these franchisees had any relevant prior work experience. What Scratch? is especially pleased with this average given the current economic circumstances and believes that they have a service that can still thrive in hard times.

"Dealerships save money using their local What Scratch? technician rather than sending a car to a panel shop to have panels resprayed. If car sales are down we can assist them to sell cars without eating into their profit margins. Private customers that may ordinarily look at buying a new car can give their existing car a What Scratch? all over and it will look like new!"  said Matt Burke, founder of What Scratch?
