Franchise industry gets good report card

As 2011 draws to a close, there is a good story for franchisees and potential franchisees to take with them into the New Year. 

The recently released Price Waterhouse Cooper Franchise Sector Indicator report reveals that 2011 has seen excellent growth within the franchise industry, despite ongoing global economic instability and depressed consumer sentiment. 

According to the PWC report, the sector has performed well when compared to the broader economy.  Franchisors predict revenue growth of 11 per cent next year and 37 per cent over the next three years, with profits also predicted to grow.
