2008 Franchising Australia survey releasedWritten on the 24 October 2008 Griffith University has just released it's 2008 Franchising Australia report, a comprehensive overview into the franchise sector in Australia. The report reveals that franchising is continuing to expand in 2008. The main findings were:
The continued growth of Australian franchising is impressive, considering the current economic challenges, the change of government last year, and the close government scrutiny the industry has faced in recent times. Franchisors view the next 12 months as challenging, but conservatively estimate that sales and profitability will remain constant. |
